Overview

Responsible for designing and implementing generative AI solutions using Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry to support internal product development. Contributes to the advancement of intelligent automation and AI/ML capabilities across business operations, ensuring scalable, efficient, and compliant solutions. Requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams and adherence to engineering best practices within an agile development environment.

Hiring Range: $116,000 - $144,000.

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex AI/ML models for both prototyping and production environments, ensuring they are efficient and adaptable.
• Drive AI/ML research and innovation by exploring and evaluating new techniques, tools, and frameworks.
• Optimize model performance with a focus on robustness, scalability, and efficiency.
• Design intelligent automation solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Power Automate, and the broader Power Platform to enhance productivity and streamline operations.
• Construct and maintain robust, end‑to‑end data pipelines for collecting, processing, and analyzing large‑scale datasets.
• Maintain high standards in code and model development through thorough documentation and adherence to engineering best practices.
• Integrate AI agents into existing platforms and systems, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure compatibility and performance.
• Participate in agile methodologies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and milestone reviews to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement of AI solutions.
• Perform other incidental duties as needed to support team goals and organizational priorities.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT demonstrating solid performance in a role working with cross‑functional teams (within IT or other business area) on enterprise‑level or complex/novel system implementations.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in medical technology development.
• Minimum 4 years of software application architecture or database design.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, with emphasis on Power Automate.
• Experience with Copilot Studio and Copilot Agents.
• Understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, Java, C++, or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS for model deployment and data storage.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Fabric, Azure AI Foundry.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation per Easterseals Southern California (ESSC) and/or program requirements.
• Must pass all drug testing required by ESSC.
