• Design and develop using Object‑Oriented design principles and software design patterns to increase reusability and maintainability.
• Write unit‑testable C#/.NET (or .NET Core) applications.
• Develop an in‑depth understanding of CoStar’s product architecture and frameworks.
• Maintain and contribute to CoStar’s product platform.
• Develop SQL stored procedures and scripts/ETL jobs that meet database standards.
• Participate in and drive continuous improvement within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Build consensus among teams and facilitate discussions among .NET and database developers.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for new opportunities and best practices.

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
• 5+ years’ production development experience with C#/.NET (or .NET Core).
• Experience with Vue, React or Angular in Type Script.
• Experience with AWS S3, SQS, DynamoDB, Elasti Cache, Apache Kafka and Datadog.
• Experience leveraging AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Git Hub Copilot).
• Track record of building and launching successful products and platforms.
• Ability to deliver products that meet specifications and performance SLAs.
• Deep understanding of the business drivers for the software you build.

• Experience in relational database design (MS SQL or MySQL) including performance tuning.
• Application security knowledge and experience with Git‑based workflows.
• Mentoring developers and building consensus.
• Experience in unit, performance, and automation testing.
