Mobile​/Front-End Developer — Mortgage Broker & Retail

At Kind Lending, we are a growing mortgage company that values partnership, innovation, and a client‑centric approach. We are looking for experienced front‑end and mobile developers to join our technology team.

Build polished, fast, mobile‑first products on top of our lending platform APIs, including a native Kwikie mobile app for brokers and a retail mobile app. Leverage AI‑enabled features throughout the user experience.

• Build and ship native or cross‑platform mobile applications (React Native, Flutter, or Swift/Kotlin) for brokers and retail borrowers.
• Develop a modern loan officer application with role‑tailored interfaces that read from and write to the LOS.
• Integrate AI‑enabled features into the user experience: conversational assistance, smart status updates, document capture and review.
• Own front‑end quality: performance, accessibility, offline behavior, push notifications, and app‑store release management.
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, and pilot users; iterate quickly on real feedback.

We build AI‑first. To be considered you must:

• Use AI coding tools daily (e.g., Claude Code, Git Hub Copilot, Cursor) as a core part of your workflow.
• Decompose work into well‑structured prompts, critically review, test, and harden AI‑generated code before shipping.
• Show measurable productivity gains from AI‑assisted development (be prepared to demonstrate real examples).
• Maintain sound judgment about when AI accelerates work and when human review is mandatory, especially in a regulated lending environment.

• 4+ years of professional front‑end or mobile development; at least one shipped mobile app in production (App Store/Google Play).
• Strong JavaScript/Type Script and a mobile framework (React Native or Flutter), or native Swift/Kotlin experience.
• Experience consuming REST/GraphQL APIs and handling auth, secure storage, and sensitive data on device.
• Daily, demonstrable use of AI coding tools – this requirement is absolute.

• Mortgage or fintech experience (broker portals, POS systems, LOS‑connected apps, or other regulated consumer financial products).
• Experience with document capture/upload flows, e‑sign, and notification‑heavy workflows.

Starting base pay: $135,000 per year. The actual base depends on experience, business needs, and market demands. Base pay range may be modified in the future.
