DevOps Engineer, Config Management – AVP

• Lead modernization of legacy development, build, and release processes from PVCS, ANT, and manual deployment models to Git Hub-based source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated release workflows
• Design and implement software delivery solutions using Git Hub Actions, Artifactory-driven promotion strategies, Dev Sec Ops  controls, and standardized deployment frameworks
• Analyze, reverse engineer, and document legacy applications and build processes for modernization, migration planning, technical debt reduction, and maintainability
• Develop automation using Python, Shell, Power Shell, and related technologies
• Partner with development, infrastructure, security, architecture, and operations teams to onboard applications into enterprise Git Hub, Sonar Qube, Dev Sec Ops , and governance frameworks
• Modernize application packaging, deployment, and environment promotion using artifact-driven release management and version-controlled deployment standards
• Support migration of legacy user interfaces and applications to modern architectures, including React-based web applications, API enablement, and container-ready deployment models
• Promote software quality through automated testing, release validation, code review, security scanning, and continuous improvement
• Assist with development tool upgrades, secrets management improvements, Dev Sec Ops  integration, and application platform transformation
• Respond to and troubleshoot production issues as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in related or relevant field
• 7+ years of hands‑on experience in Configuration Management
• 5+ years in Git Hub, CI/CD, Artifactory, build and release engineering, and enterprise software modernization
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux (csh, bash, Python) and Windows (Batch, CMD, Power Shell) automation, including UNIX shell scripts
• Knowledge and experience with C, C++, and/or Java
• Experience with ANT, Make, MSBuild, Maven, and application packaging
• Dev Sec Ops  experience and knowledge of modern deployment architectures
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, and stored procedures
• Strong coding, design, and debugging skills
• Experience responding to and troubleshooting production issues promptly
• Experience delivering projects in a fast‑paced approach
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies
• Application issue diagnosis skills
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes and Agile/Scrum project methodologies
• Experience with micro‑services and component‑based architectures is a plus
• Knowledge of AI tools such as Git Hub Copilot is a plus
