Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a qualified and experienced Class A Driver to join our Transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials using Walking Floor trailers. This role requires a Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) and a strong commitment to safety and compliance with transportation regulations. The Walking Floor Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and secure deliveries while upholding our commitment to environmental sustainability.

• Safely operate Walking Floor Trailers to transport materials to designated locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe transportation.
• Inspect and maintain the condition of the Walking Floor Trailers, reporting any issues promptly.
• Load and unload materials in a secure and efficient manner, following proper procedures.
• Complete required paperwork, such as logbooks and delivery receipts, accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and clients to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the Walking Floor Trailers to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Follow established routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changes.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and company guidelines for the proper disposal of materials.

• Operar de manera segura tráileres de piso móvil para transportar materiales a las ubicaciones designadas.
• Cumplir con todas las leyes de tránsito, regulaciones y políticas de la empresa para garantizar un transporte seguro.
• Inspeccionar y mantener las condiciones de los tráileres de piso móvil, informando cualquier problema de manera oportuna.
• Cargar y descargar materiales de manera segura y eficiente, siguiendo los procedimientos adecuados.
• Completar la documentación requerida, como libros de registro y recibos de entrega, de manera precisa y puntual.
• Comunicarse eficazmente con el despacho, miembros del equipo y clientes para garantizar operaciones de transporte fluidas.

• Seguir rutas y horarios establecidos, ajustándolos según sea necesario para adaptarse a los cambios.
• Cumplir con las normativas ambientales y las directrices de la empresa para la eliminación adecuada de materiales.

• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (REQUIRED) with endorsements (preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Class A Driver, with a focus on Walking Floor trailer operations (REQUIRED)
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Demonstrated reliability and a commitment to meeting delivery deadlines
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and logbook requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
