We are seeking an experienced Ocean Import Assistant Manager with strong operational expertise and the ability to work independently in a small-office environment.

This role involves overseeing full-cycle ocean import operations, communicating with clients and carriers, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation flow.

Candidates who are detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working quietly and efficiently with minimal supervision will be an excellent fit.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ocean import operations(NVOCC, freight forwarder, or logistics company).
  • Experience managing the full import cycle with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills in English;
    basic Korean proficiency required .
  • Knowledge ofU.S. customs processes, CBP regulations, HTS codes, INCOTERMS, and import compliance.
  • Ability to work independently in a small team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
  • Valid proofof employment eligibility in the United States.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ocean import operations (NVOCC, freight forwarder, or logistics company).

  • Strong communication skills in English;
    Korean ability is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
