Warehouse Worker
This role ensures the smooth operation of the warehouse and stores area by managing the receipting, storage, and dispatch of goods. The position supports accurate inventory control, timely movement of materials, and clear communication between the stores function and management so that operations run efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities- Manage daily warehouse activities, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, to ensure efficient and timely operations.
- Follow established health and safety guidelines within the warehouse and stores area to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Apply inventory control processes to minimize loss, prevent discrepancies, and maximize accuracy of stock levels.
- Participate in regular audits and stock counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify variances.
- Verify that all required quality documentation for inbound deliveries is present, accurate, and stored correctly.
- Deliver receipted products to specific manufacturing cells or designated areas to support production and other operational needs.
- Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and transport companies to coordinate logistics and promptly resolve issues related to deliveries or shipments.
- Load and unload trucks and other delivery vehicles using appropriate equipment and safe handling practices.
- Perform picking and packing of orders according to instructions and documentation.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stage, and organize inventory.
- Handle materials in the warehouse, including organizing, labeling, and replenishing stock as required.
- Support cycle counts and other inventory reconciliation activities to maintain accurate records.
- Carry out other warehouse‑related duties as assigned to support overall operational efficiency.
- Previous experience in a similar warehouse or stores role; experience in the medical device or a similar regulated industry is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to support inventory tracking and reporting.
- Experience with picking, packing, and material handling in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to perform loading and unloading of trucks and other delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with inventory control processes, stock counts, and cycle counting.
- Ability to follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in shipments, documentation, and inventory records.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and transport companies.

- Experience working in a growing organization where processes and systems may evolve over time.
- Comfort working in a warehouse environment, including performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet operational deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and maintain orderly storage areas.
- Willingness to support various warehouse duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
