Warehouse Associate, Material Handler
As a Warehouse Associate, it is vital to ensure that temperature-sensitive goods are correctly handled, stored, and prepared for shipping. This is a fast-paced role that requires physical endurance, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality while working consistently in cold temperatures (36 to 46F). Aside from order picking as the primary task, you will perform other general warehouse assignments such as labeling, palletizing outbound UPS parcels, and housekeeping.
Perform an array of functions that may include picking and packing orders, receiving and shipping incoming stock and materials, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse, and inventory management. 99% of the tasks will be inside a cold environment
-20 freezer and refrigerated 2‑8C.
Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Safety shoes.
- Ensure accurate order fulfillment by carefully picking the correct products, quantities, and lot numbers.
- Maintain high productivity and meet daily performance targets, helping the warehouse achieve operational goals and maintain fast turnaround times.
- Improve workflow efficiency by organizing pick locations, identifying stocking discrepancies, and communicating issues that slow down the picking or packing process.
- Protect inventory and customer goods through proper packaging, labeling, and handling, reducing product damage and minimizing return rates.
- Support a safe and clean work environment by following safety procedures, reporting hazards, and helping maintain organized aisles and workstations.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent desired. - Work Experience:
1‑2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience with SAP ERP System, preferred.
- Experience using radio frequency equipment, a plus.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow written instructions.
- Basic math, problem solving, and computer skills.
- Maintain excellent punctuality and reliability in daily operations.
- Team player, flexible, attentive to detail, and quality‑minded.
The estimated hourly range for this position is $17.79 to $24.52 per hour at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. As a temporary associate, your employment will be managed directly through our approved agency provider.
