Shipping Associate

Warehouse Associate (Shipping Department)

Schedule:

10:00 AM-6:30 PM

Pay: $18.00/hour

Location:

Irvine, CA

We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to support our Shipping Department. You will help move products through the warehouse by picking, packing, labeling, and shipping orders. You will also help with receiving items and keeping inventory accurate. This job is for someone who is reliable, works with care and accuracy, and can follow written instructions.

• Pick items for customer orders and production kits (count carefully)
• Pack and ship orders based on customer and carrier requirements
• Label boxes and paperwork correctly
• Check for labeling mistakes and fix them (or report them)
• Help receive items and compare them to packing slips and purchase orders
• Put away inventory in the correct warehouse locations
• Help with cycle counts (inventory counting) and other inventory tasks
• Enter material moves and shipments into the computer system (ERP/WMS)
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
• Use warehouse equipment like a forklift or pallet jack (if trained/certified)
• Report damaged items, missing items, or other issues to the lead/supervisor
• Do other tasks as needed to support the warehouse team

• Able to follow written work instructions and standard processes
• Basic math skills (counting, adding/subtracting quantities)
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn warehouse systems
• Good communication and teamwork
• Strong organization and time management
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while staying accurate
• Committed to quality and safety

Education/

Experience:

High school diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience). Some warehouse/logistics/manufacturing experience is helpful. We will train qualified candidates.

• 1-2 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience
• Experience in multiple areas: receiving, picking, kitting, shipping, inventory
• Experience using an ERP or warehouse system (WMS)
• Forklift/pallet jack experience (certification is a plus)
• Cycle count or inventory reconciliation experience
  
  Experience helping train new team members
• Bilingual skills (based on site needs)

All associates start at Level I, but pay may reflect your past experience.

Level II:
Strong skills in at least 2 core areas (like receiving, picking, shipping, or inventory), can work independently, and can help train others.

Level III:
Strong skills in 3+ core areas, top accuracy and productivity, mentors others, and helps solve harder inventory/order issues.
