Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year.

– Role Overview
The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the month‑end close, financial reporting, and ongoing process improvements within a fast‑paced, PE‑backed healthcare environment. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with a strong foundation in public accounting combined with hands‑on corporate accounting experience, who thrives in a dynamic, growth‑oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Assist with financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with FP&A and operational teams
- Partner with external auditors and advisors, including preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit inquiries
- Support accounting integration for new entities and acquisitions
- Leverage Workday Financials to improve reporting accuracy, automation, and process efficiency
- Identify and implement process improvements and internal control enhancements appropriate for a PE‑backed organization
- Assist with compliance related to healthcare regulations and reporting requirements
- Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to building scalable accounting processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred or in progress)
- 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Blend of public accounting (Big 4 or national/regional firm preferred) and corporate accounting experience
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience working in a private equity‑backed or high‑growth environment highly desirable
- Hands‑on experience with Workday Financials required or strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems and ERP implementations a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner cross‑functionally
