The Medve Group, Inc. is actively seeking a Part-Time Bank Reconciliation Specialist. Ideal candidates will need to be able to demonstrate a stable relevant employment history.
Responsibilities- Complete monthly bank reconciliations for property accounts to the general ledger
- Review employee credit card expense reports for errors and prepare for entry into accounting software
- Identify and research discrepancies through accounting and apartment leasing software
- Prepare necessary journal entries to correct general ledger and for booking monthly bank fees
- Reconcile inter-company general ledger accounts monthly and report any inaccuracies
- Assist with various other accounting functions as directed
- Experience in reconciling a centralized disbursement account is PREFERRED
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong mathematic/analytical background
- 25-30 hours total per week
- He/she will work remotely but will be expected to work 1 day for at least 4 hours in our Irving corporate office each week
- Days and times of employment are flexible
