Accounting Manager – Debt / Securitization
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the Debt / Securitization Accounting Manager role in our Operational Accounting department. The position focuses on monitoring and recording transactions for the debt / securitization portfolio, supporting secured, unsecured, and revolving debt didates will have exposure to Capital Markets/Treasury, SEC Reporting, Loan Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Policy/Technical Accounting, SOX, and other key functional areas.
Responsibilities- Support the Debt / Securitization accounting department with review of daily, periodic, and monthly transactions and balancing activities.
- Perform transaction analysis including strategic accounting such as securitizations and revolving credit facilities, and work closely with corporate accounting colleagues and financial leaders.
- Support SOX controls, SEC reporting, and financial statement review.
- Update, balance, test, and enhance the third‑party debt system.
- Develop, challenge, and implement process controls as appropriate.
- Interact and coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audit.
- Other related tasks as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or an MBA / Master’s Degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in an accounting department.
- 1+ year of people‑management experience.
- Strong proficiency with spreadsheets.
- Experience working with sourcing data.
- Previous management experience leading a team.
- CPA or CPA candidate.
- Consumer lending, accounting or finance experience, especially with a debt / securitization portfolio.
Irving, Texas (Hybrid schedule in office Tues‑Thurs).
