Accounting Manager, Hybrid

LHH is seeking an Accounting Manager to join a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization within the service industry in Irving, TX. This role is ideal for a hands‑on accounting leader who combines strong technical expertise with team management experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial close, process improvement, and ERP systems, along with the ability to partner cross‑functionally to drive accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.

This position pays 130K-140K+Bonus and offers a Hybrid work schedule.

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Lead the monthly and annual close processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and internal policies
• Manage revenue recognition, accruals, and expense allocations in a high‑volume environment
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff while remaining actively involved in day‑to‑day activities
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting quality
• Support audit activities, including preparation and response to external audit requests
• Assist with ERP system management, enhancements, and implementations
• Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial close processes
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Workday or similar platforms)
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities
• CPA or CPA‑eligible preferred; experience in high‑volume or operational environments a plus
