Accounts Payable Validator

Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Validator is responsible for completing Accounting work as directed by the Supervisor in addition to daily duties and responsibilities for assuring accuracy of payments to our suppliers.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

* Verify all information keyed by Accounts Payable clerks is accurate.

* Assist with filing and presorting of supplier invoices.

* Complete special accounting related projects as given.

Minimum Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED equivalent.

* Minimum 1 year of experience in accounts payable processing.

Preferred Qualifications

* Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance-related area.

* Highly organized; superior time management skills.

* Exceptional communication skills both written and oral.

* Self-motivated; self-starter; extroverted personality.

* Work well with all levels of the corporation, including as a team and individually.

Physical Demands

* Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, bend, and kneel.

* Frequently lifts up to 10 lbs.

* Long periods spent sitting at desk in front of computer screen.

* Regularly required reach with hands and arms.

Work Environment

Job functions will be carried out in an office environment.
