Accounts Payable Validator

Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Validator is responsible for completing Accounting work as directed by the Supervisor in addition to daily duties and responsibilities for assuring accuracy of payments to our suppliers.

• Verify all information keyed by Accounts Payable clerks is accurate.
• Assist with filing and presorting of supplier invoices.
• Complete special accounting related projects as given.
• Perform any other duties defined by management.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounts payable processing.

• Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Finance‑related area.
• Highly organized; superior time management skills.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and oral.
• Self‑motivated; self‑starter; extroverted personality.
• Work well with all levels of the corporation, including as a team and individually.

• Frequently – Must be able to use senses to effectively communicate with co‑workers and clients and detect hazardous conditions (Talk, hear, taste, smell).
