PAY GRADE GG31 / FULL PAY RANGE $8,733 - $12,311 PER MONTH
Responsibilities- Oversee daily Accounting Division operations, including supervision of professional staff.
- Manage general ledger activities, monthly and annual financial reporting.
- Coordinate ACFR, Single Audit, and SEFA/SESA preparation.
- Resolve complex accounting issues.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Coordinate internal and external audit requests and implement audit recommendations.
- Review grant-related financial reporting.
- Maintain compliance with GAAP, GASB, Uniform Guidance, and City policies.
- Support process improvements, develop financial procedures, and prepare annual budget.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
- Five years of progressive governmental accounting experience.
- Three years of supervisory experience.
- Texas CPA license preferred.
- Valid Texas driver’s license required.
