Senior Accountant

We7re looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented

Senior Accountant to join our accounting team and play a key role in driving financial accuracy and insight across the organization. This position goes beyond traditional accounting, its an opportunity to contribute to a growing public company by shaping processes, supporting strategic decisions, and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting.

As a Senior Accountant, youll work closely with the Controller and cross-functional teams to manage complex accounting activities, support the close process, and contribute to audits and financial planning. Youll also help refine systems and mentor junior staff, making a direct impact on both day-to-day operations and long-term financial strategy.

• Lead the preparation and detailed analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Own key areas of the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Drive the month-end and year-end close processes, identifying opportunities to streamline and improve efficiency
• Partner with leadership on budgeting and forecasting initiatives, providing insights that support business decisions
• Ensure strict adherence to GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls, proactively identifying and mitigating risks
• Play a central role in internal and external audits by preparing documentation and clearly explaining financial data
• Collaborate with teams across operations, finance, and leadership to support company-wide initiatives
• Continuously evaluate accounting processes, recommending and implementing improvements for scalability and accuracy
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering growth and strengthening team performance

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA required)
• 4+ years of progressive public accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a senior or leadership capacity
• Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience with accounting systems such as Quick Books, Net Suite, SAP, or Oracle, plus advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear insights
• Experience supporting a public company environment, including SOX 404 compliance, internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), and external audits is strongly preferred.
• Experience documenting controls, supporting walkthroughs, testing key controls, or remediating control deficiencies is a plus
