The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Lease Accountant to support the Senior Accountant – Lease Supervisor. This role ensures accurate accounting for lease agreements, including ASC 842 compliance, and prepares work papers for internal and external parties.
It also supports SOX controls and year-end activities. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in accounting, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, and exposure to GAAP; CPA/CMA is a plus. Experience with Oracle Financials and MS Office is preferred.
