High Profile is partnering with a rapidly growing international humanitarian organization to identify a Staff Accountant who wants to take ownership of key accounting functions, not simply process transactions. If you are ready to take ownership of the accounting process and make an immediate impact, this opportunity could be for you! We're looking for an experienced accountant who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and taking pride in delivering accurate financial results.
Whatyou will do
- Own monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations from start to finish
- Lead key month-end close activities, including journal entries and account analysis
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies with confidence
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen internal controls
- Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Support audits by maintaining organized, audit-ready documentation
- Utilize ERP systems and advanced Excel to analyze data and improve efficiency
- Contribute to special projects and continuous process improvements
