• Mission:
  This person computes, classifies, and records numerical data to ensure complete and accurate financial records and adherence to controls, policies, and procedures for financial statements and SOX certification.
• Tech Stack:
  Excel, U.S. GAAP, SOX, Oracle Financials (desired), other large ERP (desired)

• Reconcile:
  Reconcile and analyze various general ledger account balances and recommend appropriate management action.
• Prepare:
  Prepare and enter various general ledger journal entries for month-end closing.
• Record:
  Record bi-weekly payroll into the general ledger and process monthly accruals when necessary.
• Analyze:
  Provide analysis for various payroll-related variances and research questions related to monthly financial reports.
• Resolve:
  Interrelate with other departments to resolve issues as they occur.

• Background:
  Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting;
  Entry-Level career with 0 to 5 years of experience.
• Experience:
  
  0 to 5 years of accounting experience; exposure to U.S. GAAP and SOX.
• Skills:
  
  Proficient in Excel.
• Bonus: CPA or CMA preferred; experience with Oracle Financials or other large ERP desired.
