Senior Accountant

LHH is partnering with a growing organization seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support corporate accounting and operational accounting functions. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional with strong Net Suite experience who is comfortable working across multiple entities and partnering with operational teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve processes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly journal entries and support month-end close
• Perform income statement and balance sheet variance analysis
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
• Utilize Net Suite for financial reporting and accounting processes
• Reconcile operational transaction activity to the general ledger and bank activity
• Research and resolve discrepancies related to payments, deposits, adjustments, and write-offs
• Investigate transaction-level details to identify posting errors and other discrepancies
• Partner with operations teams to resolve accounting issues and improve accuracy
• Support internal controls, reconciliation processes, and segregation of duties
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting and operational workflows

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Experience working in a multi-entity environment
• Experience with a transaction-based operational accounting system or similar platform
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
• Experience supporting audits
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operations teams
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Healthcare, dental, or other multi-location service industry experience is a plus
