This position will provide advanced administrative support to the Executive Director while serving as a liaison to executives, elected officials, city management, Arts and Culture Board members, the general public and media. Duties include managing the Executive Director's calendar; coordinating internal and external meetings, complex events and conference calls; preparing correspondence, presentations, reports, informational packets and other documents; reviewing incoming reports and correspondence to determine appropriate course of action;

and maintaining databases, electronic files and financial records. Duties also include assisting with developing, administering, monitoring and coordinating the annual department budget. An Associate degree, or equivalent, and a minimum of three years increasingly responsible secretarial or administrative assistant experience or equivalent transferrable skills required. Must have excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills, advanced knowledge of MS Office products and a high level of computer proficiency.

Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with some evening and weekend work required. A résumé must be submitted with the application.

PAY GRADE GG20 / FULL PAY RANGE $29.47 - $41.52 PER HOUR
