We are seeking a proactive Market Homeowners Association ("HOA") Coordinator to be responsible for facilitating and maintaining positive partnerships with local HOAs. This Market HOA Coordinator will ensure compliance within the assigned portfolio as the primary point of contact for HOAs and other rental inspection agencies with special requirements. They will also proactively research opportunities to reduce violations, fees, and penalties.

Responsibilities:

* Monitors advanced HOA violations with priority given to advanced violations to determine the corrective action required or as needed and ensures completion. Communicates and coordinates violation resolutions with the resident and the HOA.

* Identifies high volume HOA communities and develops strategies to minimize HOA violations and costs. Visits properties when required to confirm violation legitimacy and resolution, as needed.

* Establishes positive working partnerships with local HOAs and ensures positive interactions to maintain them. Attends HOA meetings, hearings, and in-person amendment votes as needed.

* Works with Centralized HOA department and local property management teams to facilitate ARC approvals, HOA amenity requests, community gate access, and rental registrations. Meets with Centralized HOA Team weekly to strategize on open maintenance works orders and delays on violation resolution.

* Maintains and tracks an accurate log of Leasing Restricted communities to ensure our investments align with company standards. Ensures leasing restrictions are up to date in organizational systems.

* Meets with District Leaders (DM, DMM, DPO, RMS, and/or their delegates) to collaborate and provide regular updates on open work orders and other HOA matters.

* Follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seeks guidance as necessary.

* Actively supports and participates in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (I2P2).

* Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner.

* Handles various other duties as delegated by direct supervisor/management.

Requirements:

* High School diploma or GED required.

* Bachelor's Degree preferred.

* Experience in Property Management or with HOAs/City regulations is preferred.

* Familiarity with Microsoft CRM Dynamics and Yardi is preferred.

* Background in Customer Service is preferred.

* Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required

* Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation

The anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $21.09 to $25.30 Hourly. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.

Additional Compensation

This position is not bonus-eligible.
