General Assistant

• Duration: 6 months contract - possible extension and conversion
• Work Mode: On-site 100%
• Schedule:
  
  9am-5:30pm CST

• Perform a variety of basic clerical duties following instructions and procedures.
• Handle high-volume scanning, stapling, document retrieval, filing, and sorting.
• Create files, post records, proofread, enter data, and maintain records.
• Maintain simple to complex files, keep records, and compile and check Excel reports.
• Search and investigate information contained in files.
• Process departmental documents requiring specific knowledge of functional operations.
• Type correspondence as needed.
• Regularly stand, talk, and hear; occasionally walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with a sense of urgency.
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook.

• Notary experience beneficial, but not required.
• Mortgage experience is a plus.
