FV-G Band Duties (Administrative Officer):
Incumbent is responsible for providing advice and guidance on varying fiscal and administrative matters to management. Provides or secures the resources or services needed to run the organization. The work involves direct assistance to the supervisor who has the primary responsibility for the direction of the organization established to accomplish the mission. As the office Administration Professional, assists managers and staff in projecting staffing needs, including staffing levels and grades, and conducts work flow studies within the organization.
Coordinates with HR to obtain guidance as it relates to organizational related functions including pay, leave, and benefits. Reviews travel associated matters and the training program including initial and recurring. Responsible for managing the office logistics program including personal property, supplies and services, and acquisition activities, awards, OSHA, security, and vehicle management. Identifies, analyzes, and recommends solutions to recurring problems and offers recommendations for improvements.
Interprets guidelines and provides management with advice and counsel on the operation of assigned programs and interrelationships of such programs. Most assignments are completed without direct supervision as established in the guidelines. Some discretion is given to select the most appropriate approach.
FV-H Band Duties (Administrative Officer):
Tracks and analyzes data to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Responsible for coordinating and performing multiple and varying assignments under the general direction of the manager. May work as a team member on various projects. Responsible for planning time and assisting others to plan and use assigned resources to complete tasks. Responsible for coordinating and accomplishing administrative tasks in a wide range of administrative and analytical duties.
Evaluates and monitors office expenditures and makes sound changes based on trends and analysis, merit and deficiency situations, and known or anticipated program changes. Performs immediate and long-range planning and control for organizational services independently, anticipating program changes, etc. Coordinates with Human Resources for advice on advisory services as they relate to organizational functions including pay, leave, and benefits. Reviews travel associated matters and manages the training program including initial and recurring.
Responsible for managing the office logistics program including personal property, supplies and services, and acquisition activities, awards, OSHA, security, and vehicle management. Procures office supplies and equipment and closely monitors expenditures and reviews purchase card statements for accuracy.

Qualifications
