Booking Assistant – City of Irving

Full-time - Pay grade: GG14 / Full pay range $21.94 - $30.94 PER HOUR
- Handling rental space booking needs and requests – providing tours of Arts rental facilities; calculating estimates and preparing proposals for space use; coordinating venue reservation dates and times, user insurance program, equipment usage, and labor schedules; executing contracts, and collecting deposits and rental fees.
- Creating and maintaining client files and event records and providing assistance with telephone and reception duties.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, plus some related college or vocational training, and four years of increasingly responsible customer service and clerical experience.
- Must be proficient with computers and have familiarity with MS Office products.
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) skills may be beneficial.

Since opening its doors, the Arts Center has been a lively hub of community celebration. Irving Arts Center alone hosts approximately 1,400 events annually, including 200+ performances and 25+ exhibitions, welcoming more than 100,000 visitors.
