The Manager will be a key leader in the Corporate Strategy team that is charged with developing and implementing business strategies for the organization.
This person will lead and collaborate with various and multiple cross-functional teams to align the overall company strategy with customer and channel strategies, category and portfolio strategies, innovation plans, manufacturing and supply chain plans, efficiency and cost savings initiatives, and M&A vision. The Manager will provide best-in-class analytics to solve critical problems that improves BBUs competitive position and drive growth.
The Corporate Strategy team works on high impact, complex and confidential projects. The team works directly with senior management and interacts across all major corporate and operational functions. This position is highly visible and previous Managers have been promoted to other senior roles within the Strategy team and in other functions.
Key Job Responsibilities- Identifying critical business issues, risks, and growth opportunities; applying analytics, and structuring work plans to solve complex problems.
- Analyzing findings to develop insights and recommendations for senior management.
- Productively engaging and collaborating with individuals at all levels and across all functional and geographic areas; leading multiple cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
- Managing assignments and resources over discrete time periods with minimal intervention.
- Leveraging technical, analytical, interpersonal and management skills across all areas to implement projects across the organization.
- Ensuring that the strategy of the organization is translated to actionable, quantifiable, and measurable market-level plans.
- Articulating company strategies to all relevant stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem solving ability, including strong conceptual and analytical skills and ability to turn findings into executable plans.
- Ability to generate innovative insights from analysis and develop and implement new methodologies and analyses to drive actionable results.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams to results, experience in a matrix corporate environment, a plus.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, adjust priorities as needed, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to influence across the organization at multiple levels.
- Excellent written, oral, and formal communication skills.
- Advanced capability in use of spreadsheets, databases, data analysis and presentation tools.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Business Analytics plus significant experience in management consulting or strategic planning/corporate strategy or finance/investment banking or product management, ideally in the consumer products industry. MBA preferred.
- 5 years of overall work experience. Experience with consumer-packaged goods or large retailers is preferred.
- 2 years of experience in management consulting, strategic planning/corporate strategy, finance/investment banking, or product management.
- Advanced Excel, Power BI, and data visualization and analysis skills; experience with Nielsen, Circana, and Spins.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
