OverviewThe Payroll Associate is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll for a large company. In addition, the associate handles payroll changes such as new hires, terminations, rate changes, promotions, demotions, transfers, direct deposit, time calculation, time entry, garnishments, preparation of manual checks, filing and mail processing. The Payroll Associate provides timely customer service to the store and its associates.
Special projects may be assigned as needed.
- Data entry into Oracle HR.
- Phone calls (PTO, W2, research, general questions, etc.).
- Audits.
- Manual checks.
- Filing/Mail processing.
- Garnishment processing.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of ADP Pay Specialist, Pro Business, Oracle HR, Microsoft Excel and Word, Time and Attendance systems.
- 1-3 years prior payroll experience.
- Some college preferred (Business / Accounting).
- FPC or CPP helpful.
- Garnishment experience and Canada payroll processing experience a plus.
