We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager who is results-driven, customer-focused, and passionate about developing people while driving business growth. This position combines sales leadership, strategic planning, customer relationship management, and team development.

Position Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and developing the sales team while driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening customer relationships. This role will oversee daily sales operations, establish performance goals, develop sales strategies, and ensure exceptional customer service throughout the sales process. The Sales Manager will work closely with executive leadership, operations, production, and customer service teams to ensure customer expectations are met while achieving company objectives.

Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the sales team to maximize performance and professional growth.
  • Establish individual and team sales goals, performance metrics, and accountability standards.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions, and sales training initiatives.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented team environment.
Business Development & Customer Relations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Meet with customers to understand business needs and recommend packaging and nutraceutical solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem resolution.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, conventions, and networking opportunities.
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company revenue and profitability goals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer demands to identify growth opportunities.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on all leads and opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements while protecting company interests.
  • Drive customer retention and repeat business initiatives.
Operational & Administrative Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Collaborate with production, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure customer expectations and project timelines are met.
  • Review sales data and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within Hub Spot and other company systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
Qualifications Required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of successful sales experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership, supervisory, or sales management experience in packaging or related field.
  • Strong customer service, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive revenue growth.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems such as Hub Spot and Salesforce.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to make sound and timely business decisions.
Preferred
  • Experience in the packaging, manufacturing, nutraceutical, or related industries.
  • Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
Work Environment
  • Full-time position.
  • Monday through Friday, onsite office environment.
  • Occasional travel for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events may be required.
