RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Alignwith Regional Procurement Managerintheexecutionofprocurementstrategies  for Carbon Steel, Aluminum, Stainless Steel.
• Takelead inthedemand planning process at thebranchlevelforbundled standard items,contracted business and day to day transactional procurement activities.
• Coordinatewithsales group on contractual business and corresponding inventory levels and provide supplier pricing and lead-time.
• Align with regional Procurement Manager to deploy metal supply chain practices withinthebranchand drive improvements,specifically inventory efficiency.
• Takeownershipfortheinventoryperformanceinthebranch.
• Provide Procurement and Supply Chainguidanceto  the Sales team.
• Maintainallopenpurchaseorderstoensureaccuracyandexpecteddeliverydatesarekeptcurrent.
• Ensure procurement practices atthelocal/plantorganizationsareconsistent withenterprisewideprocurement practices in terms of execution and processes.
• Reviewandensureinventory replenishment commitments are consistent with business needs, sales forecasts and inventory targets hand in hand with Regional Procurement Manager.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including cost savings, purchase price variance, and on-time delivery; present findings with supporting analysis to the Regional Procurement Manager.
• Create,issueandfileallpurchase ordersinatimelyfashion.
• Develop and recommend new procedures and approaches to safety and loss prevention based onreports of incidents, accidents, and other data gathered.
• Otherresponsibilitiesasassigned.

• Data driven with strong analytical skills; ableto generate a wide range of reports and process datathat forms the basis for solid decision making.
• Understands supply chainconceptsasrelatedto inventorymanagementandriskmitigation.
• Have gained very good understanding of forecasting and replenishment concepts as part of asupply chain organization directly or indirectly.
• Aproponentofchangewhocanintroducemodernprocurementconceptsandinfluencepeople.
• Excellentoraland written communication,interpersonalandnegotiationskills.
• Possesstheabilitytoworkwithminimumsupervision.
• Goodorganizationandtimemanagementskillsaswellastheabilitytomeetdeadlines.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience required.
• 3+yearsofpurchasing,supply chain planning,materials and/orcommoditymanagement.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Especially Excel)
• Proficiency inusing procurementsoftware, ERP systems, and otherdigitaltools for procurementprocesses and data management.

• Therole primarily involves office-based workanddoes not entail significant physical demands beyond typical office activities.
• Monthly travel to supported branches is required, with additional travel as needed

• Thework environmentispredominantlyindoors, withinanofficesetting.
• The Buyer interacts with colleagues, suppliers, and other stakeholders
