Sr. Sourcing Manager- Real Estate & Facilities

Overview

Responsible for sourcing and category management for Construction & Facilities (Facilities Management, Construction, Utilities, and Furniture). Establish sourcing strategies, lead sourcing events at a global and/or regional level, develop and implement category strategies in partnership with sourcing and contract specialists, and collaborate closely with business unit and functional leaders to identify opportunities, align on strategies, and deliver tangible results.

• Work closely with McKesson Project Management, Real Estate, and Facilities teams to lead all sourcing related activities, driving significant value for the business.
• Collaborate with Contract and Sourcing Specialists to develop forward‑looking sourcing strategies in alignment with category strategies, gain insight into the category, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work with Sourcing Specialists to identify leading practices and market intelligence to share with functional business leaders.
• Drive collaborations between S&P and Business Units.
• Lead sourcing events with a team of business partners, Category Leads, Sourcing & Contract Specialists; create business‑case recommendations, and partner with functional leaders to make final decisions on suppliers.
• Act as liaison between suppliers and McKesson Business Units.
• Lead periodic business reviews and partner meetings focused on driving accountability and improving supplier performance.
• Work cross‑functionally with global and regional counterparts.
• Provide guidance to Contract and Sourcing Specialists across multiple categories to execute strategic sourcing and support activities.
• Provide monthly forecast of projected savings.
• Negotiate remediations with suppliers when necessary.
• Develop a thorough knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures.
• Handle details of a highly confidential and critical nature.

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

• 8+ years of corporate business experience
• 5+ years of strategic sourcing and category management expertise
• 3+ years of experience in these categories, particularly Construction/Facilities Management

• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent reading comprehension and the ability to understand complex contracts
• Strong written and oral communication experience writing agreements and creating SLAs
• Presentation experience to large audiences and executive leaders
• Developing presentation materials
• Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• Able to work across cultures effectively, valuing diversity within a virtual team
• Track record of performance

4‑year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Base Pay Range: $109,500 – $182,500. Compensation is determined by performance, experience, skills, equity, market evaluations, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, other compensation such as an annual bonus or long‑term incentive opportunities may be offered.
