This Opportunity Overview

The Product Manager III is responsible for elevating and modernizing the 7‑Eleven Restaurant Technology products for our team members. As a Product Manager, you'll develop new experiences that will not only transform the business but will shape our digital future. You will define product strategy, develop, launch, and enhance products and services that drive our business forward. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, UX and software development teams to define product requirements and coordinate resources from key stakeholders.

You'll also be responsible for identifying and tracking KPIs as you build these amazing experiences. The ideal candidate is a highly organized individual with a passion for user experience and professional experience building impactful and meaningful customer experiences.

Responsibilities 50% Strategy & Planning
  • Seek to empathize with and understand the end user deeply and use that knowledge to determine the fastest path to deliver value
  • Translate business goals and end user needs into product strategy; communicate direction and product priorities to the development team, other matrixed teams, and third‑party partners
  • Identify goals, metrics and analytics to determine product value; continually make recommendations and refinements to the product backlog based on learnings
  • Manage and groom the product backlog; make future decisions based on the value that will be delivered
  • Monitor research and the competitive landscape to recommend the best solutions and ensure that products remain or become best in class
  • Ensure that product directions balance both the user needs and business goals of driving sales, improving efficiency and enhancing customer satisfaction
25% Delivery & Execution
  • Work with user research and testing team to formulate, test and refine assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing
  • Create, prioritize and accept user stories; incorporate them into release planning
  • Make product decisions that drive value on a daily basis
  • Identify and consider pros, cons, issues, obstacles, dependencies and value associated with features and enhancements
  • Lead and mentor the team in stand‑ups, iteration planning sessions, product demos, and retrospectives
  • Condense complex technical concepts into non‑technical language for stakeholders
25% Team & Stakeholder
  • Set clear goals and expectations for the team aligned with business objectives
  • Act as a bridge between product teams and other departments (engineering, UX, marketing, etc.)
  • Ensure the team communicates effectively and delivers on commitments
  • Act as a proponent of modern agile development practices
  • Advocate for the end user and stakeholder by becoming associated with the product, empathizing with and understanding user needs
  • Manage cross‑functional team and stakeholder expectations to execute on product strategy and provide education to requestors to determine prioritization based on tangible benefits and/or user experience
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's / 4 years Degree or master’s degree
  • Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in digital product management
  • Proven experience in translating customer needs into product features and user interface design, with proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, wire framing and analytics software.
  • Strong analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or Masters degree
  • Experience in retail or e‑commerce platforms
  • Position not eligible for sponsorship
  • Position is onsite and based in Irving TX.
