Position OverviewAs a Product Manager III, you will lead complex, cross‑cutting product initiatives across the Merch Enterprise portfolio. You will operate at the intersection of pricing, promotions, merchandising operations, and enterprise systems driving strategy, shaping roadmaps, and delivering scalable solutions in a highly integrated environment.
This role is designed for an individual contributor who can:
- Identify and solve platform‑level problems (not just feature‑level work)
- Drive alignment across multiple product domains and stakeholder groups
- Elevate product thinking, operating rigor, and outcomes across the portfolio
- Define and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmap for core capabilities aligned to business objectives
- Own end‑to‑end product lifecycle from concept through launch and continuous optimization
- Identify opportunities to improve promotional effectiveness, scalability, and operational efficiency through platform enhancements
- Own and execute against high‑impact roadmap areas that may span multiple systems or domains
- Bring structure and clarity to ambiguous problem spaces; define outcomes, success metrics, and delivery plans
- Lead backlog prioritization and execution, ensuring alignment to business value and technical feasibility
- Raise the bar on product rigor (clear requirements, measurable outcomes, disciplined prioritization)
- Work within a highly integrated enterprise ecosystem, including pricing systems, POS, digital channels, and third‑party partners
- Partner with engineering on system design considerations, APIs, and integration strategies
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable requirements
- Simplify and rationalize workflows across systems to improve usability and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders across merchandising, pricing, operations, marketing, and digital teams to ensure alignment and adoption
- Influence decisions across teams and drive alignment on priorities and trade‑offs
- Act as a subject matter expert for the promotion system platform
- Engage with internal users and stakeholders to understand needs, pain points, and opportunities
- Leverage data, customer insights, and competitive analysis to inform product decisions and drive innovation
- Partner with UX to ensure intuitive, scalable user experiences
- Define and monitor KPIs related to promotion performance, adoption, and system health
- Use data‑driven insights to continuously optimize product features and workflows
- Drive measurable business outcomes such as improved promotion execution, reduced errors, and increased sales impact
- 5–7+ years of product management experience, with a focus on enterprise or platform‑based software solutions
- Strong experience managing complex, integrated systems (e.g., promotion engines, pricing systems, or enterprise retail platforms)
- Proven ability to deliver products end‑to‑end in Agile environments
- Deep understanding of backlog management, prioritization, and roadmap planning
- Strong technical acumen with experience in APIs, integrations, and distributed systems
- Ability to interpret data, define KPIs, and make data‑driven product decisions
- Experience simplifying complex systems into scalable product solutions
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to influence at all levels
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams without direct authority
- Strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree is a plus
