McKesson is seeking a Sr. Strategic Operations Analyst
. This role develops and maintains strategic initiatives to support department and business objectives. The position manages customer and manufacturer programs across all segments, leveraging SQL-driven analysis of large data sets to identify trends and opportunities impacting inventory positions. The role serves as a primary interface with McKesson internal teams, including Product Management, Generic Operations, and Distribution Experience, to ensure proprietary programs meet customer needs.

• Lead the Development of additional strategic programs to meet key business goals or customer requirements via data analytics. Partner with strategic business owners to identify goals and objectives. Co-present the purpose and goals of each initiative to key business partners to build trust.
• Manage the existing customer and manufacturer programs to continue meeting business goals. Develop and distribute reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Own intake, analysis, and response for ad hoc requests received via the shared mailbox, ensuring accurate and timely delivery within established SLAs.
• Develop strong relationships with internal McKesson teams and develop solutions to quickly respond to and resolve customer issues.
• Continuously evaluate and improve inventory management processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline operations.
• Balance strategic program development with hands‑on execution, including analysis, reporting, and operational follow‑through.

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

4-year degree in business, finance, marketing, supply chain, or related field, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree is a plus.

• 4+ years’ experience in areas such as operations, product management, purchasing, marketing/sales, and/or finance.
• Proficient in SQL, with ability to independently write, modify, and maintain code.
• Strong project management skills.
• Power BI is a plus.
