The Proposal Development Specialist leads and supports the strategic development of moderate to complex high-value Requests for Proposals (RFPs) across North American Pharmaceutical Services business segments, serving as a key advisor to Sales and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Draft, develop, and assemble end-to-end proposal responses, integrating cross‑functional input.
- Lead and coordinate proposal response teams involving Sales, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.
- Provide strategic bid consultation to Sales and other stakeholders on bid objectives and risk considerations.
- Manage proposal projects end‑to‑end, applying project management best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement of proposal content, workflows, and response quality.
- Improve RFP content and reporting metrics to ensure accuracy and optimization.
- 4+ years of relevant experience (degree or equivalent) in business, legal, or a related field.
- 3+ years of business experience developing and managing proposals in a corporate setting.
- Proven leadership and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication and exceptional editing/document organization capabilities.
- Confident stakeholder engagement and influence across all organizational levels.
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and time management.
- Business and legal acumen to translate requirements into proposal responses.
- Problem analysis and resolution skills, using logical reasoning to recommend solutions.
- Judgment and discretion in discussing business and legal issues.
- Intermediate to expert proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with contracts, legal, and/or sales operations.
- Familiarity with content and technical writing.
- Experience with content management software (Salesforce, Pramata, SharePoint, Highspot, etc.).
Hybrid position: expected to work onsite at Las Colinas office a minimum of two days per week; remaining days remote.
CompensationBase pay range: $80,300 - $133,900.
