Product Owner, Lending Platform

We are not accepting C2C or 1099 arrangements.

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to help build a next-generation lending platform from the ground up. In this highly visible role, you will drive 0-to-1 product development, partnering closely with business, design, and engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions that address customer needs and create measurable business value.

As a product leader, you will transform complex business and client challenges into intuitive, scalable, and customer-centric experiences. You thrive in ambiguous environments, bring strategic thinking to product decisions, and are passionate about building products that make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a modern lending platform.
• Identify customer pain points, market opportunities, and business needs to shape product direction.
• Translate insights into clear product requirements, user stories, and exceptional user experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, operations, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality product solutions.
• Prioritize features and make data-driven decisions to maximize customer and business outcomes.
• Lead Agile product development processes from ideation through launch and continuous improvement.
• Drive alignment among stakeholders while balancing strategic priorities, technical considerations, and customer needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven track record of building and launching products from concept to market.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering products in Agile environments.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to translate customer insights into scalable product solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with in financial services, lending, fintech, or related industries.
• Experience building digital platforms, workflows, or customer-facing applications.
• Strong understanding of product discovery, user-centered design, and product lifecycle management.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in fast-paced environments.
