Are you passionate about managing strategic sourcing and contract negotiations while driving value through strong supplier partnerships and cross-functional collaboration?
As a Contracts Manager, you will lead end-to-end sourcing and contracting initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders, sourcing teams, and subject matter experts to deliver high-value agreements that support organizational goals. You will play a key role in developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier engagements, negotiating contracts, and ensuring successful implementation of awarded agreements while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with business leaders, sourcing teams, and stakeholders to define sourcing strategies, requirements, and commercial terms.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including development of RFPs, supplier evaluations, analysis of proposals, and recommendation of preferred solutions.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts while ensuring compliance with established organizational policies and standards.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, communicating timelines, milestones, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with finance and business teams to perform data analysis, cost assessments, and business case evaluations that support decision-making.
- Support contract implementation activities, ensuring smooth transition from award through execution and operational adoption.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive performance and long-term value.
- Participate in supplier performance reviews and identify opportunities for contract optimization and expanded supplier engagement.
- Identify opportunities to improve contract coverage, standardization, and sourcing effectiveness across the organization.
- Ensure adherence to applicable data privacy, confidentiality, and compliance requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic procurement and contracting objectives.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract negotiation, sourcing, procurement, or supplier management.
- Experience managing competitive sourcing events, including RFPs, RFQs, bids, and supplier evaluations.
- Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across business and operational functions.
- Strong analytical and financial assessment skills, including cost analysis and value evaluation.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present recommendations and influence stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build productive relationships with suppliers, partners, and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on compliance, risk management, and process improvement.
