Job DescriptionAs a member of the Cost Management team your job will encompass different levels of responsibility that commands professionalism and confidentiality. Below is a partial list of responsibilities.
Duties And Responsibilities- Prepares budgets by understanding plans, requirements, updating specifications, identifying, and projecting costs for each project.
- Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials, identifying qualified subcontractors.
- Resolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Provide complete and accurate quantity take-offs.
- Analyze and comprehend job documents and RFQ’s.
- Communicate with vendors for all trades.
- Preparing cost analysis for labor, equipment, and materials
- Analyze and comprehend plan sets and construction drawings.
- Solicit and evaluate bids.
- Monitor and qualify sub-contractor bid submittals.
- Provide complete estimates in proposal form.
- Review construction documents to understand the project scope of work and provide direction to bid coordinators to secure proposals
- Position requires close communication with internal management.
- Consults with operations to develop innovative and diverse service solutions.
- BA/BS degree construction management, engineering or related field or relevant trade experience.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Retail and/or Restaurant construction preferred.
- 2 years sales and/or project management experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in pricing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Up to 30% travel (position based in Dallas, Texas).
- Must have and maintain good driving record.
- Adhere to company’s policies, as well as compliance with federal and state legislation laws.
