Construction Materials Field Technician

Take your construction career to the next level at Kleinfelder in Dallas, Texas. We are seeking experienced Construction Materials Testing Technicians to perform construction observation and materials testing on various projects, verifying conformance to construction plans and specifications.

• Follow proper procedures and complete work in a timely manner.
• Prepare daily field observation reports and materials testing data sheets.
• Perform accurate computations.
• Maintain cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, contractors, and others.
• Travel to job sites from time to time.

• 1-3 years of construction materials testing or inspection experience.
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician—Grade 1.
• Radiation Safety training for operation of a nuclear density gauge.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency with a company‑provided laptop or tablet and working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good work ethic and high level of personal integrity.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

• TxDOT Testing Certifications.
• ICC Special Inspector
