Construction Materials and Geotechnical Testing Laboratory Technician
Kleinfelder's Irving (DFW) TX office is seeking a Construction Materials and Geotechnical Testing Laboratory Technician to join our team. The laboratory technician will perform routine to complex testing for construction materials and geotechnical testing in the laboratory, verifying conformance to standards and specifications.
Responsibilities- Performing concrete cylinder compression testing
- Following proper procedures and standards
- Performing daily routine testing of construction materials and geotechnical samples
- Performing accurate computations
- Maintaining cordial relationships with co‑workers, clients, contractors, etc.
- The technician must possess or be willing to obtain ACI Concrete Compression Strength Technician - Level 1 certification.
- Preferred candidate will have 0-3 years of construction materials laboratory testing experience; however we will train the correct individual.
- NICET - Level I (Soils and/or Construction Materials Testing)
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.
