Senior Estimator, Data Centre Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our team, specializing in Data Centre projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in Project & Construction Management to contribute to the successful delivery of complex and innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in tools such as Accubid and Bluebeam, and a proven ability to manage cost estimation processes with precision and efficiency.

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for data centre construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project scope and budget.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure quality standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Review and validate estimates prepared by junior estimators or other team members.
• Provide support during the bidding process, including preparing bid proposals and attending pre-bid meetings.
• Monitor and update cost databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and advancements in construction technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cost estimation, with a focus on data centre or similar large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in Accubid, Bluebeam, and other relevant estimation and project management software.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or equivalent are a plus.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior estimators and support staff.
• Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as needed to reflect changes in scope or conditions.
