Podcast Producer - On-Site

This role is ideal for a skilled podcast and media editor with a strong background in multi-camera production and audio-visual workflow optimization. The project centers on a high-end, fish-focused podcast show, utilizing advanced equipment such as the Atem Extreme ISO Video Switcher, a 12-channel audio mixer, Mix Effect, and a five-camera setup, with support for two remote guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing podcast episodes, streamlining the media workflow, and potentially developing automation solutions through software programming.

The position is based in Irving, TX and requires on-site presence for the full duration of the project. There is potential for follow-up work based on performance and project needs.

• Edit multi-camera podcast episodes to a high production standard, ensuring seamless audio and video integration
• Optimize and document the media workflow, identifying opportunities for efficiency and automation
• Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot technical issues and implement best practices
• Integrate remote guest feeds and manage live switching using Atem Extreme ISO and Mix Effect
• Develop or advise on software automation solutions to enhance production processes
• Maintain organized project files and ensure timely delivery of final assets

• Proven experience in podcast or video editing, especially with multi-camera and multi-channel audio setups
• Proficiency with Atem Extreme ISO Video Switcher, Mix Effect, and professional audio mixers
• Strong understanding of media workflow optimization and automation tools
• Experience with software programming or scripting for media automation is highly desirable
• Ability to work on-site in Irving, TX for the full duration of the project
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
