Technical Production Assistant Radio and TV

We have an immediate need for a Production Assistant to join us at our studios in Las Colinas, Texas. This person will play a vital role in aiding the production for an authoritative daily tv and radio show.

• Operating audio consoles, mixing for live on-air talent and sound effects.
• Setting up, testing, and maintaining microphones, studio consoles, recording software, and transmission equipment.
• Collaborating with the TV director, producers and talent to execute the show's structure, sound bites, and commercial insertion.
• Technically directing the flow of the program and managing the studio's audio setup.
• Editing and uploading: podcasts, commercials (audio and visual) and other content as well as verifying all video & audio clips
• Running teleprompter, line producing, creating guest banners for TV
• Creatively writing show titles and descriptions
• Call screening
• Active on social media for show research

• 2-3 years experience as a production assistant
• Experience using audio editing programs like Adobe Audition and Pro Tools
• Experience using video editing programs like Premiere Pro
• Social media experience including X, You Tube, and Instagram
• Strong communication, organizational skills, adaptability, time management and the ability to work under pressure.
• The ability to work early mornings and some holidays.
