Digital Designer

We are looking for a strong visual storyteller and experienced designer to join our growing in-house agency team. We’re looking for someone excited about creating stories through graphic design, illustration, and motion graphics for use in marketing, paid media, and social media.

This role will often balance many projects, contributing to multiple initiatives. You will need to be a strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders; and a detail-oriented self-starter who can easily multitask and who understand project management stages. Excellent presentation, communication, and computer skills are essential.

We have a great team, so being able to play nicely, handle criticism and implement suggestions to improve is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and delivering graphic design for content marketing and social media
• Creative direction and visual design talent, especially for consumer retail experiences
• Staying up to date on the latest graphic design techniques
• Work cross-functionally with a variety of teams to gather necessary product information
• Consistently brainstorming and collaborating with the creative team to foster new ideas and customer-centric strategies
• Managing creative contributions from agency partners and the in-house team through briefing to creative approvals

Requirements:

• Degree in advertising, design, design technology, etc. or other applicable field of study
• You have prior experience as a Designer as well as a strong portfolio of sample projects; preferably for retail in either an in-house or an agency setting
• Proficient knowledge of core design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere), etc.
• You have a keen eye for design and aesthetics
• Strong communications skills and ability to work across various teams at any level
• Has an attention to detail, an understanding the importance of the finer details, and can multitask in the face of competing priorities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
