Job Duties

Duties include completing contract forms, preparing change of address records, and receiving orders for installation, turn‑on, disconnection and other changes in water service; issuing customer orders through the Computer Information System (CIS) software to coordinate with both field and billing units; resolving billing or service complaints and referring grievances to designated departments for investigation; and performing financial transactions such as cashiering for charges billed, and monitoring and reconciling daily transactions.

Duties will require providing a high level of customer service to callers and visitors both internal and external.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent and two years experience using high volume operations standards and general accounting principles in a customer service environment required. Good communication, teamwork and customer service skills are essential. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills beneficial. Must have experience using 10-key adding machines, be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and have working knowledge of other basic office machinery. GG11 – Full pay range $18.81 - $26.52 per hour.
