Job Description
Established, stable, and growing copier/printer sales and service company is looking to hire a dispatch customer service rep that can help our clients over the phone, email, and dispatch technicians in the field on service calls. Office equipment we service includes Canon copiers, HP printers, fax machines, and scanners. We've been in the business for over 25 years, and have a reputation for being the best, our service is second to none.
Our dispatchers are expected to effectively work with a team sharing an office, and communicate clearly with customers, co-workers, and management with a shared goal of making our customers as happy as possible.
This is a full‑time in‑office position, full benefits, 401(k) with company match, bonus opportunities, standard business hours Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm.
Responsibilities- Answer phone calls
- Call routing
- Communicate and dispatch technicians in the field
- Data entry
- Order entry
- Equipment meter collections via phone
- Effectively resolve customer phone calls or problems
- Send/receive large volumes of emails quickly with proper grammar
- Work as a team with other dispatchers
- High school diploma or GED
- Typing 50+ words per minute
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Be proficient, quick, and comfortable with computer/software navigation and operation
- Be detail‑oriented and able to work under tight deadlines with a sense of urgency
- Be able to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment, while consistently producing high‑quality work and projecting a positive attitude
- Ability to multi‑task
- Customer service oriented
- At least two years dispatch or similar customer service phone experience
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Must be able to pass a background check
