About the Role:
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment? As a Customer Service Representative I, you will be the first point of contact for clients, website users, prospective residents, and current residents of apartment communities utilizing Yardi’s products and services. You will handle inbound calls, emails, and chats, providing information and support tailored to an assigned client group.
Responsibilities include answering leasing inquiries, assisting with resident service requests, and offering web‑application guidance. This role is ideal for detail‑oriented individuals eager to develop their skills while delivering outstanding support.
- Respond to inbound calls, emails, and chats from prospective and current residents, clients, and website users regarding apartment communities.
- Provide detailed information on available apartments, assist with leasing inquiries, and support residents with facility service requests.
- Deliver technical and navigational assistance for web applications related to Yardi’s products and services.
- Develop expertise in supporting an assigned client group by continuously building product knowledge and customer‑service skills.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of customer service experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and Internet Explorer
- Ability to communicate effectively, cooperatively, and persuasively
- Ability to nurture a cooperative, team‑oriented environment
- Ability to treat all employees and clients with respect and dignity
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks within a fast‑paced environment
- Determination and self‑motivation
- Strong problem‑solving skills
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including appropriate grammar and punctuation
- Attention to detail
- Two (2) years of experience in the real estate or leasing industry
- One (1) year of experience in a high‑volume call center environment
- Experience with Real Estate software applications, especially the following:
Yardi, CTI, MRI, JD Edwards, Skyline, Timberline, Rent Roll, One Site, AMSI, or Great Plains - Knowledge of Federal Fair Housing Laws
