Qualifications

• Six months of accountable cash handling/transaction management in a retail or customer service environment.
• Successful completion of the FCBI Step Program for internal employees.
• High school diploma, high school equivalency, or currently attending high school.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

• Under direct supervision, provide exceptional customer service, including receipt and payment of cash, within a high‑volume sales environment.
• Follow established bank policies and supervisor direction.
• Evaluate customer relationships and offer bank products and services to new and existing account holders.
• Achieve monthly new account production targets as assigned by upper management.
• Participate in an active sales environment, including in‑store aisle prospecting.
• Process deposits and pay outs according to bank procedures, recording all transactions accurately and balancing daily operations.
• Receive cash and checks for deposit, verify amounts, and examine endorsements.
• Thoroughly examine cash to guard against counterfeit checks and identification.
• Enter transactions into the computer system and issue customer receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, bank‑to‑bank wires, and certificates of deposit.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross‑sell bank services and products.
• Provide bank services to a diverse customer base, including a large Spanish‑speaking population.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other tasks requested by supervisors as related to the bank and its functions.

Approval limits will be based upon established authority levels.

• Required to stand or walk for extended periods, dependent upon branch location.
• Ability to work in a high‑volume, stressful, and noisy environment.
• Operate a computer and other office machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
