Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle all inbound calls to PDC’s general sales line, promptly answering with a smile and providing exceptional service.
- Conduct outbound sales calls, prospecting for new PDC customers through cold calling and other media outlets.
- Analyze customer purchase history to identify growth areas.
- Design and implement programs to present to the customer.
- Provide appropriate service action to inbound calls, including writing orders, providing order tracking information, answering questions, and addressing concerns regarding past orders.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales and gross margin objectives.
- Recommend products to customers based on their needs and interests.
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
- Work with the sales group to develop and market new products.
- Contact target accounts monthly through a variety of media to promote special offers as determined by management.
- Provide customers with product and service information.
- Identify, research, and resolve customer issues.
- Follow up on customer inquiries not immediately resolved.
- Complete call logs and reports.
- Create and maintain order reports daily.
- Update and upload customer pricing matrix and maintain pricing expiration dates.
- Provide on‑the‑job training for new team members.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent business experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Problem solving and multitasking abilities.

The primary environment is a typical office setting with ambient room temperatures, lighting, and conventional office equipment.
Physical DemandsRequires reaching above shoulder height, bending below the waist, lifting moderately heavy objects (e.g., computers), and sitting for extended periods. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
