Customer Service Account Manager

Overview

This role focuses on building long-term relationships with Macro Helix customers, addressing advanced issues impacting revenue, and coordinating with support on standard requests to ensure client retention and confidence in the 340B program.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts related to the Macro Helix product portfolio, with emphasis on customer experience.
• Create long-term, strategic customer relationships focused on proactive value creation.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries; escalate as needed to appropriate resources.
• Assess and prioritize client-reported issues to determine required work and solutions.
• Understand drivers of success, constraints, and pain points in the 340B program and relay them to leadership to drive product and service improvements.
• Apply product knowledge to answer questions on functionality and best practices.
• Handle advanced/critical/sensitive issues that could affect revenue.
• Lead special projects, secure customer buy-in for changes, and explain next steps and impact on system issues.
• Translate complex client feedback into clear, actionable requests.
• Help expand the Customer Success team’s capabilities through process improvements and tools automation.
• Represent the voice of the customer in internal discussions to relay product and service feedback.

Degree or equivalent and typically 4+ years of relevant experience.

• 4+ years of experience in a customer service role or account management.
• In-depth knowledge of the 340B program.
• Experience in the hospital or pharmaceutical industry.
• Process improvement experience.
• Strong customer service mindset.

• Critical thinker, curious, problem solver; passionate about guiding and teaching others.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and details.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including active listening and customer advocacy.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Working knowledge of tangential systems that integrate with Macro Helix (e.g., pharmacy software, wholesaler ordering systems).

This position offers the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement based on in-office/work-from-home policy. If located in the DFW area, the selected candidate may be required to work on-site at the Las Colinas office a minimum of two days per week, with remaining days remote. Specific in-office days may be designated by team needs.

McKesson offers a competitive compensation package as part of Total Rewards. Base pay range for this position is $75,600 - $126,000, with additional compensation such as annual bonus or long-term incentives where applicable.
